Biographie

Pierre-Marie Lejeune is a sculptor and designer. His favourite shapes are cubes, pyramids and cylinders, formed from steel or brass. He also designs furniture, notably furnishing a Flammarion store in Paris. He met Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely in the 1980s. Between 1987 and 1995, he made the furniture (ceramic chairs and benches) for the former’s Tarot Garden in Tuscany. During Le Cyclop’s construction, he was tasked with leading a team of Italian craftsmen in their installation of the facade’s mirrors; however, the latter promptly abandoned the project.
