Etienne-Emile Baulieu

Born in 1926 in Strasbourg, Etienne-Emile Baulieu is famous worldwide for having invented the abortion pill and the "morning-after pill". In 1982, he created the anti-progesterone RU 486. Jean Tinguely pays tribute to this polemic figure with his reproduction of the model for the RU 486 enlarged nine times over.
