Made in Niki de Saint Phalle's studio as a tribute to Professor Étienne-Émile Baulieu, the model of the abortion pill is a ninefold reproduction of the molecule for the RU-486 or abortion pill. The inventor of this molecule was Professor Étienne-Émile Baulieu, a friend of Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle. It is exhibited within a niche on the second level of Le Cyclop, suspended via a nylon cable. A white sign at the entrance to the niche presents the molecule with a quote from Étienne-Émile Baulieu: "Jean asked me: put your pill (RU-486) with the artists. We, too, face intolerance, and for science, it is serious."
